I saw a person in my Pilates class wearing these and I was curious. After looking them up, I'll admit I was skeptical paying so much for "socks". After a little justification on my head (I've likely spent that much or more on grip socks as I explored which type I liked better and the grips just wearing out), I decided to give these a go. There's a little learning curve wearing them for the first time, however you get used to them. The biggest thing was being used to sliding my foot in socks vs these grip so well you need to pick up your for and move it on the footbar or have your strap in the right place for feet in straps. These are so secure there's no sliding or tie wedgies doing lunges. My side planks, I'm not moving! And these clean up just with a rinse! These are definitely worth the purchase. I can't wait for the black to come back in stock in my size.

I LOVE these grippy water shoes, they're just as described. Comfy, easy to wash, they hug my feet through dance movements. Our bellydance troupe has been trying to find flattering open-toe dance shoes for an upcoming outdoor performance that don't detract from our costumes like ballet slippers or jazz shoes, or heeled ballroom shoes) ... we needed something that mimics the traditional barefoot bellydance experience we're used to while protecting the ball and heel. These do the trick! While grippy indoors for yoga, they allow easy spins on concrete outdoors...though of course we don't expect them to withstand too much rough usage like this. If barreletics could combine the rubbery uppers with a reinforced suede (or equivalent non-grip material) on the ball & sole you could corner the market on ****, unique 'barefoot' dance shoes for both indoor & outdoor performances! Fun note, I was even able to make them a shimmery bronze with Rub & Buff metallic wax to match our costumes!!

I use these on my boat and for other barefoot activity around the lake. They are truly “better than barefoot”. No more hot surfaces and excellent protection with grip. I don’t like to wear boat shoes and flip flops are dangerous. I am so thrilled and can’t wait until my grey pair arrives!

I live In a warm climate and my workout consists of running on the beach every morning and a little session of yoga. I used to do it barefoot till I saw these things pop up on my feed. I now have a protective barrier between my feet and potential hazards on the sand, like shells.
I have the In Studio version as well for my barre class and I love them over wearing gross socks.

Stefanie , on top of having a great product was patient and kind enough to recommend the size and color that would work best for me. Once I made the order they arrived quickly and let me tell you they did not disappoint! I use these for martial arts (Tae Kwon Do) Zumba, and to go from the dojo floor to the shower. Sometimes I go strait from the dojo for a short run and they give me just enough protection without sacrificing ground feel. With a wonderful owner and a great product you will have a dan in me for a very long time
